- HIKING TRAILS AND WILDFLOWERS by Keith and Barbro McCree -

June Mt.Trail Map

There is an excellent all-round view from the top of June Mt. (1400m, 4600 ft.). In early summer, wildflowers are abundant here and on nearby Sawtooth Rock. The popular June Mt. trail is short (about 2 km) but steep in places. Like many other trails to old lookout sites, it was originally intended for use by mules. There is a longer and more interesting route to the top via the Lost Creek and Sawtooth trails.
