SCULPTURE SLIDES FOR FINAL 2

List of Sculptures to be Known for the Final Exam
ITALIAN RENAISSANCE SCULPTURE
EXAM DATE: MONDAY, MAY 10 FROM NOON TO 3 P.M. VOORHEES 104

The sculptures on this list should all be old friends by now. Your knowledge of Olson should be close to that of complete memorization, with Avery's Donatello not far behind. For Hibbard, I will expect that you will know the sculpture and closely related material. If you have any questions as to what this would be, contact me. Note that some of these have links to online photographs; I'll try to add some more for your convenience.

In writing the comparisons and the essay, please keep in mind that what I want are responses that show that you can place these sculptures in their appropriate artistic and cultural context. Therefore, do not expend time on rote memorization of isolated facts for each work; be prepared to relate the works to one another (esp. true for the comparisons) in the format of a considered essay, whether shorter or longer in length.
