I am a geologist and college instructor. I have taught at Lane Community College in Eugene and at Oregon State University in Corvallis. At present, I am teaching Geoscience 101, The Solid Earth, at Oregon State University. 

             I live in Eugene, Oregon with two cats and lots of trees, including at least a dozen apple trees. I like to bicycle and take long walks, and I especially like to hike in the Cascades. I read a lot and I like to listen to music.
