Gaeilge Mor
 Irish Language Study Group

Under the leadership of Mik Thompson,  our Irish language study group continues weekly meetings  every Friday evening, 6:00pm at Mrs. Thompson's; 27 West Fifth Avenue in Downtown Eugene. These meetings made possible by special ACM grant, and are free of charge to those wishing to attend. No experience is necessary. Bring a note pad, writing tools and any study materials that you may have to share. Some study aids will be provided. The style of the group will be as a shared practice and experience of Irish Gaeilge, focusing on everyday practical language, pronunciation and usage. Some esoteric materials may be introduced further on. We are hoping that this study group leads participants to be able to travel with a full experience in Gaeltacht districts of Ireland, read literature in Irish and be able to speak to our Elders.
