Their influences consist of bands such as Five Iron Frenzy and Reel Big Fish. The ReadymenThe Readymen were a Eugene based band built of: Dustin -- Vocals Brendan - Guitar - Bass Guitar JP ------ Drums The Readymen are a ska-punk band. I've seen them twice and the first time they played more of the ska sound while the second time it was more punk (if you know what I mean). If you like Op Ivy, you most likely would like these guys. I think some of their songs sound Op Ivyish. Currently they have an LP and a CD out. The LP has The Readymen on one side and The Chitz (a Canadian punk band) on the other side. They only had 511 of these pressed....So once they're sold there will be NO MORE. I believe that this was a self entitled album (not sure). They also have a CD out titled "Show Hall Bound." The CD can be purchased from Mr. White Records P.O. Box 24377 Milwaukee, WI 53224 I believe they only had 1000 of the CDs pressed initially. ----- The Readymen will be releasing a new single on Illumination Records. The release date is February 3rd. The songs on this single will be "Out of the Rubble", "Factory", and "Drowned Out." This will be on green vinyl and will cost $3.50 (which includes S&H). Illumination Records P.O.
