THE BUDDY SYSTEM HOMEMADE PET FOOD is all natural and made from recipes developed and nutritionally balanced by Richard H. Pitcairn, DVM, Ph.D. and Susan Hubble Pitcairn, MS, the authors of Dr. Pitcairn’s Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats”. (Rodale Press).

A variety of basic recipes are available for maintaining the healthy pet, as well as special recipes, made to order. Special diets are also available for pets with specific needs, such as kidney or liver problems, weight loss or gain, the pregnant or nursing mother, puppies and kittens, and elderly pets.

The food is available packaged and frozen, or fresh in bulk quantities. Dog Food is priced from $1.10 per pound, and Cat Food from $1.80 per pound.
