Flopsy's Hike in the Three Sisters Wilderness Area

It started with this note... (you'll need Adobe Acrobat to see it, but it's free and there's instructions on the page to install it). Frankly, I was a little bit concerned, but I had a good idea that my co-worker Paul Gennett sent the note. (Click on his name to see a picture).

Well, a week went by. I got more worried that maybe I wasn't getting my office buddy back, but lo and behold, in that day's mail came this card (Adobe Acrobat again) and the following pictures. I did not know who this "Scarlett" mentioned on the card was until Flopsy's Second Big Adventure. The comments in quotes were written on the back of the pictures by Paul.

"A long ways to go!"

"The snow cave where we 'warmed up'"

"The scary part!"

When I saw the card, I thought "ha ha, good joke" and expected the return of Flopsy when Paul returned from his vacation (I found out later that that's when the pictures were taken). Little did I know there was more in store for Flopsy...
