Notes:

1. The name of the German Savings Bank was amended on September 8, 1855 to that of the German Loan & Savings Association.

2.  The business activity showed that these loans were made primarily on properties located in Suffolk County with a few each in Norfolk and Middlesex Counties.

3.  Consistent with the reorganization of 1855, most of the loans made in 1853 and 1854 were rewritten in 1855.
