In preußischer Zeit

The "Prussian Time" in Lingen to which the above caption applies extended from the death of Wilhelm III (Prince of Orange, Statthalter of the Netherlands, King of England and Scotland, and Landesherr of Lingen) and the subsequent coronation of Friederich I in 1702 until the period of French administration in 1806 (Grand Duchy of Berg).

Although the notations on the map are illegible, nevertheless, 2 areas of significance were shown:
     1. Der Wulwer Esch and
     2. Danckelmanns Kamp,
both of which had been mentioned in the contract of 1835.

Since Wessling's Neubauerei was not established until circa 1819, one can easily determine how the area surrounding the Neubauerei appeared before 1819.
