KONRAD KOHLER

He married Katherina Schwaab on July 20, 1812 in Busenbach at the Church of St. Katherina.

The groom was from Reichenbach at the time of their marriage and was born on May 26, 1788.
The bride also lived in Reichenbach and had been born on August 23, 1788.

His parents were Martin Kohler1 and Katherina Waßmer.
Her parents were Ignatz Schwaab and Franziska Nußbaumer.

    (Witnesses were named Muller and Martin, who were both from Reichenbach.)
They were the parents of the following children:2


Alois
was born on February 26, 1813 in Reichenbach and was christened in Busenbach.
He died on September 15, 1813.

Katherina
was born on July 14, 1814 in Reichenbach and was christened in Busenbach.
(Sponsors were Alois Mueller and Ignatz Schwaab.

Gertrud
was born on November 10, 1816 in Reichenbach and was christened on the following day in Busenbach.
(Sponsors were Ignatz Becker and Ignatz Schwaab.)

 

NOTES:

It would appear that a number of people from the parish of Busenbach settled in Boston as many of the surnames can be seen in the parish records of Holy Trinity Church.

1. At the time of their marriage his father was a "Mauermeister".

2. The search for the children of this family only covered the period 1813 through 1816.
