He married Maria Eva Schuster on April 10, 1804 in Jöhlingen at the Church of St. Martin.

The groom was a Tagelöhner at the time of their marriage.

The bride may have been born in Bilfingen and was christened on June 22, 1773 in Jöhlingen at the Church of St. Martin.

Her parents were Jacobus Schuster and Maria Magdalena Schwartzbecker.

They were the parents of the following children:


Maria Anna1
was christened on December 24, 1805 in Jöhlingen.

Magdalena
was christened on June 18, 1808 in Jöhlingen.
She married Philipp Jakob Kormann on November 27, 1838 in Jöhlingen.

Maria Eva
was christened on November 1, 1809 in Jöhlingen.
She married Sylverius Rüssel2 on August 16, 1832 in Jöhlingen. She may have married a second time in 1845.

Johann3
was christened in December of 1811 in Jöhlingen.

Genofeva
was christened on May 25, 1813 in Jöhlingen.

Judith
was christened on February 5, 1815 in Jöhlingen.

Sebastian1
was christened on April 15, 1819 in Jöhlingen.

 

NOTES:

1. It was reported in the parish's records that this person had immigrated to America.

2. One of their children may have immigrated to America.

3. There was a John or a George Rick, most likely the same person, who was living in the South Boston district of Boston during the late 1850's and early 1860's. This person died in 1863 in Boston. It is not definite if this person was Sebastian's sibling.
