NOTES:
From 1824 until 1837 Johann Gerhard was at Böhmers Heuer and
thereafter he was an Eigentumer in Lingen Stadtflur. Given
that he was a Zimmermann and that records have shown that Johann
Albert Wessling also had the same occupation for a short period of
time, were these 2 involved with the construction of Wohnhaus Nr. 19?
1. Much of the information for this family was obtained through
correspondence with Lühn of Varenrode and Korves of Kiel.
2. This section of Lingen was described as follows:
"Lingen ist ein Landstadtchen. Viele Leute besitzen einen
Garten. Manche haben auch einen Acker. Die Stadt ist deshalb
von Feldern oder Fluren umgeben. Diese nächste Umgebung der
Stadt heißt Stadtflur. Dazu gehören auch schon
die Straßen außerhalb des Stadtgrabens."9
3. He was most likely the child's uncle.
4. She may have been the child's aunt.

8. He may have been the child's uncle, Johannes Hermann
Heinrich Kuhr, who had married Margaretha Elisabeth Wesseling
and who was at Böhmers Heuer.
