Michele
Lukowski has drawn and painted since childhood, watching and copying
her mother as she painted in the kitchen of their home. Her art education
includes a degree in Visual Design from the University of Oregon,
as well as community college courses and self-taught techniques. She
works in a variety of media, including computer illustration, pen
and ink, watercolor, guache, oil, and pastel. She often blends her
own mediums, inks, oil paints and pastels for use in her work. Michele
also does bookbinding, collage and printmaking.
As
an artist and graphic artist, Michele has experience creating graphics
for use in print and web, on signage and screenprinted items. Her
versatility in illustration styles allows her to work with art directors
and designers in creating graphic art that conveys the look and feel
required by the project.
