Frank is a retired Ironworker and president of the Intenational Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworkers Union, Local 790. He is a member of the Eugene/Springfield Solidarity Network, a veteran of WWII, US Army a lifetime activist for peace, jobs, and justice, a Senior Citizen's advocate, and State Chair, Oregon district, Communist Party, USA . He is the local distributor of the "People's Weekly World" Newspaper.

Frank is officially endorsed by the Pacific Party of Oregon. He has received a "green light (100%) approval rating" from the Oregon National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL), which is "committed to ensuring the election of pro-choice candidates at all levels of government".
Frank's history, as a leader in the labor movement, shows that, as our Mayor, he will guide our City Council in a constructive and productive way. He is expert at identifying points of aggreement and moving forward from there.

When it has become necessary for local workers to demonstrate for their rights, Frank has been, and will continue to be, there on the line, marching in solidarity with his brothers and sisters. As our Mayor, Frank will be an effective advocate for all the working people of Eugene!
