Participation Criteria and Work Parties

Each person will meet a minimum of 2 meetings and 2 work parties for a camping pass with one meeting before the eligibility deadline, and 1 meeting and 1 workparty for a day pass or signficant other pass. To verify attendance, please sign your name on the attendance sheet at the general meeting and with your booth coordinator at work parties.

Significant Other Passes or SOP's as defined by the Oregon Country Fair are for "a person who shares your tent". Teen Passes are for everyone 14-18 years of age. A teen must have a teen pass through the Fair's Teen Crew or by purchasing a teen pass through the Village. Contact the fair office for info about Teen Crew. See the handbook for more information.

Community Village work parties are scheduled for every weekend before the Fair, starting usually the second weedend in June. Carpools generally leave from Growers Market Saturday morning at 10 am and 12 noon. When you arrive at the Fair site, stop at Main Camp and sign the OCF's Community Village attendance sheet. Also, sign in with your booth coordinator.

Bring your own drinking water, food, mosquito sauce and tools that you will need to work parties. Heavy shoes are needed because of nails in recycled lumber. Because of all the building going on please watch your young children carefully.
