River Road Swim Club
The River Road Swim Club is co-sponsored by River Road Park and Recreation District and club members. The program serves those ages 5 years through college, who are able to swim. Swim instruction is provided on competitive swimming techniques. There are meets for swimmers of all ability levels in which they compete against others of their own age/gender.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:To qualify for the intermediate practice group, a swimmer must be able to swim all four competitive strokes (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), as defined by U.S. Swimming Rules.
All members need to be registered with United States Swimming prior to competing ($25 per year). The will also need to keep $15 minimum in all entry fee account.Children who do not meet the minimum requirements, yet still wish to be on swim team, should sign up for River Road Novice Team (See class description).
Practice Times are as follows:
M-F 5:45-6:45 am through 3/6
M-F 3:30-5:15 pm through 3/6
M-F 5:00-6:15 pm through 3/6
cost:$30 per month
No discounts for early payment or additional family members. Dues for individual swimmers can be reduced through participation in club fund raising activities. Scholarships are also available.
River Road Novice Team
For Children 5-10 years old who wish to be involved in competitive swimming and need extra help.
Minimum requirements: Swimmer needs to be able to swim 25 yards front crawl and 25 yards back crawl. Please feel free to join any time during the season.

River Road Water Polo
The River Road Water Polo Club competes in the Oregon Water Polo Association.
We have teams for both boys and girls. This is a fast, fun game that requires
string swimming skills. Practice times are as follows:

Ages 12 - 8th grade (co-ed)
M,W,F 3:45-5:15 pm
March 31 - May 15
Senior Girls (9th-12th grade)
Tu & Th 3:45-5:00 pm
Senior Boys (9th-12th grade)
Tu & Th 5:00-6:15 pm
NOTE: May 4 through May 16, practice for both boys and girls will be held Monday through Friday, 3:45-5:00 pm.
Cost: $35 per athlete
