Facilities Rentals

The UU Church in Eugene, 477 East 40th Ave, is located at the northeast corner of 40th and Donald in south Eugene. It is nestled in the woods in a beautiful and tranquil setting. The view from the octagonal, windowed sanctuary creates a peaceful haven for weddings, retreats, workshops, meetings, and small concerts.

The Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene welcomes people of all faiths, and supports and encourages free inquiry.

        The church is committed to environmentally-responsible use of all resources. We ask renters of our facilities to help fulfill this committment, by following all recycling instructions and avoiding, whenever possible, the use of disposable, non-biodegradable materials such as styrofoam and plastic when planning and conducting events at the Church.

        Both church levels are wheelchair accessible. Smoking is not permitted inside the church building. Parking is available in the church lot for up to 40 cars. There is ample on-street parking.

A refundable security deposit of $250.00 or 50% of the rental fee, whichever is less, to reserve the space for all rentals. Deposit must be paid at time of signing the lease agreement.

A janitorial/maintenance/set-up/key person fee will be $30.00 for 1 and 2 hour rentals, $50.00 for longer rentals.

A reduction in the rental fee may be negotiated for groups with non-profit status, all day meetings or on-going classes. (The kitchen and janitorial fees are not subject to the price reduction).

A special event package is available for large events such as weddings, committment ceremonies or memorial services. This package includes use of the Sanctuary, Social Hall, Kitchen and Library. The fee for this package is $800.00 (which includes a janitorial/ maintenance/set-up/key person) plus a refundable security deposit of $250.00.
