11-96: Hyundai - your good neighbor:  Hyundai's Dong Soo Shyn assures us the multinational corporation just wants to be a "good neighbor" and "obey our laws." 

9-97: Hyundai sues city - wants more handouts: Hyundai files suit challenging  changes to the West Eugene Enterprise Zone program.

7-98:  Developing a thirst:  EWEB assures public there is enough water, albeit that the necessity for Hyundai's system expansion would come sooner.  That day has come. 

9-98:  Hyundai to fund Eugene water quality projects:  1995 lawsuit brought by the Sierra Club, CPA, and the Constitutional Law Foundation, is  settled for $250,000.

10-98: Proposed Hyundai air pollution permit raises questions:  ... the necessity of emitting hazardous substances into the air, and the question as to how much authority citizens have regarding the monitoring and enforcement of such permits. Neither question is answered.

11-98:  Hyundai's woes - Suits, counter suits, mergers, levies and junk bonds: The Eugene Hyundai plant is mired in a huge legal entanglement
