My art is a visual language telling the story of who I am, and tracing a map of
where I am going. Each painting is an opportunity to speak out to you the viewers. Each painting is an opportunity to become better
acquainted with myself. My images honor cycles and celebrate our place within natural boundaries while also exploring self-imposed or
society-imposed boundaries. The paintings begin with a monotype. Then colored pencil, pen and ink or pastels are worked in.
Gold or metal leaf, and handmade papers are often added embellishments. Represented by Jessica Hagen
